At High Meadow we plan for our children to gain a coherent knowledge and understanding of Britain’s past and that of the wider worlds. We plan to inspire pupils’ curiosity to know more about the past. We develop their ability to think critically, ask questions, weigh evidence and develop perspective and judgement. We recognise that history helps children to understand the complexity of people’s lives too.
