The learning journey continues in Year 4.
The children will continue to learn about and explore a range of exciting new topics across the curriculum, building on the skills and knowledge they have already received. We encourage all of our children to be inquisitive learners and we use this curiosity to help shape the direction of our topics.
Our vision is for every child to be the best possible version of themselves. We aim to provide a range of experiences and opportunities that the children may not have access to outside of our school.
We recognise the importance of the children taking control of their own learning. Within Key Stage 2 our children are increasingly encouraged to be responsible for the own work, for example, through independent research and personalised presentation.
Key Stage 2 is also the place for our children to grow as people. We recognise the importance of supporting our children in building relationships, growing in empathy and becoming well-rounded and happy members of our community.
